Our goal is simple: help readers make a good decision about a toilet seat, bidet seat or bathroom upgrade. This policy explains how we choose, research and update what we publish.

How recommendations are selected

We shortlist products that are widely available to US buyers and that suit a specific need — for example a particular budget, bowl shape or feature. We explain who each product suits and what to check before buying. A product appearing on this site is not a guarantee that it will suit your bathroom.

How specifications are checked

Specifications are checked against the manufacturer’s official product page or documentation, and we note the date they were checked. Where sources conflict or a detail cannot be confirmed, we mark it as unverified.

Testing

Unless an article states that a product was physically tested, it has not been. See How We Review Products for how we label tested and researched products.

Affiliate relationships

We earn commissions from some links, including as an Amazon Associate. Affiliate relationships do not determine which products we include, and we do not accept payment to feature a product. Updates and corrections

We review guides when products change. Articles show both their published and last-updated dates. If we make a material correction, we note it in the article. Report an error via our Contact page.
