Our Testing Methodology
We evaluate every smart toilet seat against six criteria:
- Heated seat consistency — temperature accuracy, warm-up time, silent operation
- Wash quality — pressure range, oscillating + pulsating modes, water temperature
- Dryer effectiveness — warm-air temperature, drying time, noise
- Remote ergonomics — button layout, responsiveness, accessibility
- Build & warranty — soft-close hinge durability, replaceable parts, warranty terms
- Smart-home compatibility — Wi-Fi stability, Alexa/Google routines, app firmware
Each criterion is scored 1–10 and weighted to produce an Editor Score.
